11:39 AM
Screams turned into whispers
and faint cries wrapped around your neck.
I strangle you with tears.
Soft kisses on your forehead
like chinese water torture,
my open arms an endless well;
don’t fall.
Ear-shattering love songs
and good intentions fit to kill.
Your feet dance across my
hot coal hands
kneading the knots
with shards of glass.
My tongue traces your teeth like
nails across the chalkboard.
Your hand slips through mine
like quicksand.
i want to grab you
but you scream
want to love you
but it hurts so bad.
the carousel turns
and
the faces start to blur
and
screams turn into whispers.
